On the farm

My Flower Story.

Here at Petals and Caps, we are in the beginning stages of growing local flowers. We are growing Zinnias, Celosias, Tuberoses, Marigolds, Cosmos, and several herbs/fillers for your flower needs. The colors for this season are mainly Lime green, lime green with blush, and UpRoar, a deep magenta color, as well as a mixture of other gorgeous colors.

Our goal is to grow for you and your special occasions.  Whether it is a birthday, anniversary, Mother’s Day, wedding, baby shower, celebration of life, holiday, or whatever the event, we want to share our love through flowers with you and your loved ones, family/friends, and whoever that special person may be.  Petals and Caps would be honored to grow for your special event.  As we grow, CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) bouquets will be available for you.

So, if you have a local florist you are working with and have a color theme specific, let’s talk!  We can help provide local, seasonal flowers for your one-of-a-kind special moment.  For details, please send an email to  Petalsandcaps@gmail.com or IM.  We want to be a part of your adventure and hope you will join us on ours.  If you have any questions or comments, please get in touch with us. Please visit our website and invite your family and friends to join us and discover locally grown flowers.

Did you know most flowers are imported from outside the United States? Most (80%) come from South American countries and other places around the globe. The rest (20%) come mainly out of California.

Sourcing local flowers can be incredibly difficult to find. However, the times are changing, and locally grown flowers are being grown here on the farm.  Being local, flowers can be delivered quickly, given the transportation issues or other disruptions that can and do occur worldwide—leaving less of an impact on our environment through less waste.
